The University of Westminster is one of the UK’s leading centres for the study of Architecture and the Built Environment inspiring more than 2,000 students at its teaching base at Marylebone, in central London. The Transport Studies Group sits within the School of Architecture and Cites and is responsible for a range of professionally oriented postgraduate courses, underpinned by a strong research base. This post will be located in a specialist team with a focus on sustainable approaches to transport and logistics with an emphasis on sustainable approaches to transport.

Building on its existing success the School of Architecture + Cities is seeking to appoint a full time Lecturer to teach Logistics and Supply Chain Management related subjects on the MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management. This appointment is an opportunity to contribute to post-graduate teaching and the related administrative activities located in a specialist team with a focus on sustainable approaches to transport and logistics within the framework set by the School and/or University policy. The postholder will also engage in research and scholarly activity in these areas, individually and in collaboration with colleagues.

Applicants for the Lecturer in Logistics and Supply Chain Management should have teaching and research experience within the broad fields of logistics and supply chain management, together with a Post-Graduate Degree (or an equivalent level of knowledge), teaching experience in higher education and/or relevant professional experience (e.g. in practice) and a proven research background.
