Bentley offers Miami seaside homes with a revolutionary vehicle elevator
Residents will be able to effortlessly ascend from the street to their houses without getting out of their automobiles thanks to a vehicle lift in Bentley Motors‘ first residential tower bearing the Bentley name.
The Bentley Residences tower at Sunny Isles Beach, Miami, will house 216 luxurious houses created in association with Bentley. The architectural firm Sieger Suarez Architects, and US real estate developer Dezer Development.
The 749-foot, 61-story structure will be finished in 2027 with the goal of becoming a landmark on Miami’s Sunny Beach.
The cylindrical shape of the structure and the floor-to-ceiling windows. All of which are examples of how the building will emphasize indoor-outdoor living areas, according to the company.
The design incorporates elements from Bentley’s design language. For instance, the meticulous diamond-shaped glass facade panels that are carefully angled to create the natural light refraction. Also, the elegant diamond-shaped tiles adorning the lobby floor, all reference Bentley’s signature diamond motif.
Furthermore, Each property has an in-unit multi-car garage with storage for up to four automobiles per home and easy access to a cutting-edge patented car elevator tucked away in the building’s core, designed to meet the needs of luxury car owners.
This ground-breaking lift, called the “Dezervator” after Bentley’s business partner Dezer Development, will let residents drive up to their homes directly.
When inhabitants enter the building, an RFID sticker placed in their vehicles will be immediately read. This activates an advanced lighting system that directs the driver to the appropriate Dezervator. So they can go to their own floor.
Without requiring the driver to exit their car or touch a button, the system recognizes this ID and transports them directly to their home.
Each lift has a hydraulic system that gently secures a car by its tires before smoothly elevating or lowering it to the appropriate story using a robotic shuttle system. Glass encloses the lowest levels of the elevator shaft, giving users a 360-degree view of the building’s common areas.
Additionally, each Bentley Residence will have a large private balcony, a pool, a sauna, and an outdoor shower. The building will have a fitness center, spa, pet spa, whisky bar, restaurant for residents, wellness center, and movie theater.
Furthermore, The tower’s architectural design incorporates environmentally friendly building materials and reduced coastal lighting. Therefore, protecting the habitat of threatened sea turtles. It was created in accordance with the Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC) certification. Thus ensuring the maximum protection of the local environment and its wildlife.
The interiors of Bentley Residences will be constructed using sustainably harvested, natural materials and finishes. Furthermore, including wood, leather, and glass. A tranquil color scheme that complements the residence’s coastal surroundings has been carefully selected.
Moreover, The structural pillars in the foyer area are veined with wood that has copper dust embedded in it to provide a soft metallic sheen. The Bentley EXP 100 GT concept car employed this method.
The design team, lead by Chris Cooke, head of design collaborations at Bentley, made sure that the dwellings were created with the same unrelenting attention to detail seen in every Bentley automobile in order to appeal to a luxury consumer.
According to Chris Cooke, head of design partnerships at Bentley, “one of the biggest achievements when we design a car is to have a whole group of designers working together, but to make it look like it came from one person’s hand.”
“We have the same exciting challenge with Bentley Residences Miami but on a 61-storey scale.”
“In reality, each element has been considered, understood and designed by the Bentley Design Team, by our partners at Dezer Development and by Sieger Suarez Architects, but the overall effect is seamless,” Cooke stated.
“We have applied the same attention to detail that goes into our cars into this very building.”
For example, The cinema, which was built to resemble the interior of a Bentley car of how Bentley’s design DNA is delicately integrated into common amenities.
“A cosseting sofa wraps around the back of the rear three walls, embracing residents in the space,” Cooke stated.
The whisky bar will make homage to the Bentley automobiles’ matrix grille and have a bar hung from the ceiling to give the impression that it is floating.
