Welcome to the ‘Best House in the World’ competition, a new international challenge to discover and reward innovative residential architectural designs still in development or tendering stages, prior to construction. This competition is open to real projects with real clients and real plots, designed by architects aiming to reach new levels of excellence and quality in residential architecture.

The objective of ‘Best House in the World’ is to find the best house that combines cutting-edge innovation, functionality, and aesthetic appeal, while embracing sustainable practices and advanced technologies. Architects from all over the world are invited to participate in this competition, where inHAUS challenges the most daring and creative designs by posing the opportunity to work with their innovative off-site construction system.

The competition offers significant prizes to recognize excellence in architectural design and to promote innovative and sustainable construction practices. The prizes for the different categories are as follows:

  • Category XL: For projects over 1,000 m². Prize of €60,600.
  • Category L: For projects between 500 m² and 1,000 m². Prize of €30,300.
  • Category M: For projects under 500 m². Prize of €20,200.
