Overview The CLASSICS the Small Luxury Design Award 2025, organized by Blooming Nakanishi, invites creatives worldwide to participate. This award celebrates handkerchief design, aiming to elevate the handkerchief into an intimate piece of art. Founded in 2003 on the theme of “close luxury on the palm,” CLASSICS seeks original designs that resonate with modern sensibilities.
Theme: “Harmony” Designers are invited to explore the theme of “Harmony,” celebrating diversity and connectedness. The theme aims to highlight how individuals with different backgrounds can unite harmoniously, encouraging works that inspire unity and understanding through artistic expressions of nature, culture, and human relationships.
Award Details
- Grand Prix:
- Prize: 100,000 yen (~$677 USD)
- Commercialization of the design in CLASSICS stores and online.
- Semi-Grand Prix:
- Prize: 30,000 yen (~$202 USD)
- Commercialization of the design in CLASSICS stores and online.
- Jury Special Award:
- Prize: Winning design presented on a handkerchief.
