The New European Bauhaus Collective (NEBC) invites you to participate in its online conference ‘Common Ground: Making the Renovation Wave a Cultural Project’ on 29 April 2021 from 10 am to 4pm CET.

Launched by the President of the ecu Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, at the occasion of the State of the ecu Union last September, the New European Bauhaus aims to form the Green Deal a cultural, human-centered and positive, ‘tangible’ experience. It intends to cause a green transformation of the built environment and therefore the construction sector and at an equivalent time trigger a broad discussion about future ways of cohabitation , at the crossroads between art, culture, social inclusion, science and innovation.

By making the Renovation Wave a cultural project, the Commission initiates a fundamental shift, which may be a game-changer within the transition to a more sustainable economy and society.

In the spirit of the New European Bauhaus, the NEBC conference is meant as a participatory and multi-disciplinary event, enabling people from various backgrounds to satisfy and exchange ideas on challenges raised by the New European Bauhaus. it’ll be a chance to require stock of the event of the NEB initiative and also to contribute to its co-design phase and reflect on emerging trends. Join the conversation and let’s shape the New European Bauhaus together! The event will compile professionals and workers from the creative and cultural sectors; educators and researchers; representatives from cities and therefore the European institutions, and NEB enthusiastic citizens.
