Concéntrico invites innovative participation through three calls for its 2025 festival in Logroño, Spain, held from 19 to 24 June 2025. These calls include Objects in the City, Third Landscape, and Picnic in the Vineyard, aiming to explore urban transformations and foster community interaction. The submission deadline is 17 January 2025 at 23:59 (GMT+1).

Call 1: Objects in the City

In collaboration with Romanian Design Week, this program focuses on reinterpreting urban elements. Participants are invited to create temporary designs reimagining public spaces such as squares and streets to enhance new uses and interactions. The goal is to improve the communal nature of these spaces while maintaining minimal and elegant design principles.

Call 2: Third Landscape

Inspired by Gilles Clément’s manifesto, this call emphasizes preserving marginal and neglected urban spaces. Projects should explore these areas as opportunities for inclusive urban planning, focusing on equity, safety, and accessibility.

Call 3: Picnic in the Vineyard

In collaboration with Bodegas LAN, this call is inspired by the tradition of picnics and communal dining. Participants are encouraged to rethink spaces and tools related to dining, connecting modern practices with traditions and emphasizing communal experiences in natural settings.

Participation and Submission

The competition is open internationally to individuals and groups in disciplines like architecture, landscape architecture, design, and art. Submissions must be made digitally, and Concéntrico will produce and execute the winning proposals as part of the festival’s urban installations.

Submission Deadline: 17 January 2025
Festival Dates: 19–24 June 2025
