Its exterior now features reclaimed redwood sourced from decommissioned water towers across New York City’s five boroughs. These materials were chosen not only for their texture and warmth, but also for their connection to the city’s history. The previously understated entrance has been replaced with a sweeping canopy. This creates a stronger sense of arrival for visitors.

Beyond its new look, the renovation has improved comfort and accessibility. Wider seats, expanded wheelchair access, and modernized restrooms make the theater more inclusive and convenient.
