Design House Stockholm / 20th Anniversary Catalogue

In 2012 Swedish furniture and design brand Design House Stockholm was celebrating it’s 20th anniversary. For this occasion they wanted to produce a give away for friends and business partners, something that would tell the story about the company so far.
It would be interesting to put the company’s contemporary products in a contrasting setting, so we ended up renting the late 19th century city palace Hallwylska Palatset in the center of Stockholm, just a block away from the company headquarters.
In the middle of the photographic catalogue writer Hedvig Hedqvist contributed with an essay about Scandinavian design during the 20th century. The catalogue was mentioned in Dwell magazine and was awarded with ”design of the month” in Swedish magazine Resumé.
Art direction and graphic design. Photography by Olivia Jeczmyk, texts by Hedvig Hedqvist.
