The Egyptian Graduation Projects Competition 2.0 offers a valuable platform for young Egyptian designers to present their creative ideas and innovative solutions. Aimed at fostering a culture of innovation and creativity, the competition serves as a bridge between emerging talents and the design industry, providing participants with the opportunity to gain exposure and connect with potential employers. This initiative supports the growth of the design sector in Egypt by encouraging fresh perspectives and novel approaches.

Awards and Recognition

Participants in the competition will have the chance to compete for a range of awards, with the top prize including a cash reward of 25,000 Egyptian Pounds, along with a feature on social media and the competition’s website, plus an e-certificate. The second and third place winners will receive 15,000 and 10,000 Egyptian Pounds respectively, along with the same promotional and certification benefits. In addition to these top prizes, several honorable mentions will be recognized, and their projects will be published online with corresponding e-certificates. Shortlisted and longlisted projects will also receive similar recognition through publication and certificates, allowing numerous participants to gain visibility.

Registration Details

The competition registration process is designed to encourage early participation. The Early Bird Registration phase runs from August 10 to August 31, with a fee of 700 Egyptian Pounds. Standard Registration is available from September 1 to September 30, at a cost of 900 Egyptian Pounds. For those registering later, the Late Registration period extends from October 1 to October 31, with a fee of 1,200 Egyptian Pounds.

Jury Panel

A panel of esteemed jurors will evaluate the submissions, ensuring a high standard of judgment. This year’s jury includes prominent figures such as Michele Pasca, Karim Mekhtigian, Islam El Mashtooly, Karim El Hayawan, and Ali Al Raouf. These jurors bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the table, helping to identify and reward the most outstanding projects.
