The sixth edition of the fair returns to Santa Monica Airport from February 20-23, 2025, featuring around 100 galleries, an expansive program of ambitious installations, collaborations with nonprofit organizations, and pop-ups from some of Los Angeles’ most beloved restaurants.

Frieze has announced details of Frieze Los Angeles 2025, with the sixth edition of the fair returning to the historic Santa Monica Airport from February 20 – 23, 2025. The fair will be housed in a structure designed by Kulapat Yantrasast’s architectural studio WHY and will once again serve as the center of a week of cultural events across Los Angeles.

Christine Messineo, Director of Americas at Frieze, stated:
“Frieze Los Angeles 2025 will serve as a key platform in the city’s dynamic cultural landscape, celebrating creativity, innovation, and community. This year, we will bring together a stellar roster of galleries and artists that reflect the vibrancy and diversity of Los Angeles and beyond.”


World-Leading Galleries and Debuts

The 2025 fair will feature more than 100 galleries from 20+ countries. Leading international names include:

Alongside them, 14 galleries will make their Frieze Los Angeles debut, including:

The fair’s global reach will be complemented by LA’s thriving gallery scene, featuring major spaces such as Blum, Regen Projects, David Kordansky Gallery, and The Box.

Focus: Emerging Artists & Galleries

Curated for the second time by Essence Harden (co-curator of Made in L.A. 2025), and supported by Stone Island, the Focus section will spotlight 12 emerging galleries, providing a platform for the next generation of contemporary artists and art spaces.

The 2025 section will feature solo presentations from galleries such as:

Programming, Collaborations & Non-Profit Initiatives

Frieze Los Angeles 2025 will bring back Art Production Fund’s acclaimed site-specific installations across Santa Monica Airport. The fair will also continue to support local non-profit organizations and host major initiatives, including:

  • The Deutsche Bank Frieze Los Angeles Film Award
  • The Frieze Impact Prize – a collaboration with WME, in partnership with the Center for Art & Advocacy and its fellowship program, Right of Return

Frieze Week: Major Exhibitions & Events Across Los Angeles

During Frieze Week, Los Angeles’ top museums and cultural institutions will present major exhibitions and events. Highlights include:

  • “María Magdalena Campos-Pons: Behold” at The Getty
  • “Olafur Eliasson: OPEN” at The Museum of Contemporary Art
  • “Joseph Beuys: In Defense of Nature” at The Broad
  • “Alice Coltrane, Monument Eternal” at The Hammer Museum
  • “Imagining Black Diasporas: 21st-Century Art and Poetics” at LACMA
  • “Scientia Sexualis” at ICA LA
  • “Animation and Me” at The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, featuring exclusive events and activations

In response to recent challenges in Los Angeles, Frieze is committed to ensuring that the fair remains a vital part of the city’s rebuilding and artistic ecosystem.

Frieze proudly supports the LA Arts Community Fire Fund, led by The J. Paul Getty Trust, aiding artists and arts workers affected by the fires. Additionally, 10% of all newly purchased tickets will be donated to this fund.

By attending Frieze Los Angeles, visitors directly support the LA arts community, contributing to its future growth and sustainability.
