Aims and Objectives

The International Conference on Facade Design and Building Systems (ICFDBS) is a leading academic event dedicated to advancing research, innovation, and best practices in facade design and building systems. It serves as a federated platform that brings together scholars, researchers, and industry experts to present and discuss groundbreaking studies. The conference spans multiple sessions, ensuring in-depth discussions and knowledge exchange on diverse topics related to facade design and construction technologies.

Call for Contributions

Researchers and professionals are encouraged to submit their research abstracts, full papers, and e-posters for presentation at the conference. Submissions should showcase original and unpublished research, including conceptual, empirical, experimental, or theoretical advancements in facade design and building systems. The conference welcomes contributions that align with the conference themes and include figures, tables, and references relevant to novel research materials.

Conference Proceedings

All submitted papers will undergo a blind peer review by three qualified reviewers. The accepted papers will be indexed in Open Science Index, Google Scholar, Semantic Scholar, Zenedo, BASE, WorldCAT, Sherpa/RoMEO, and other recognized databases.

Special Journal Issues

The ICFDBS has partnered with the Special Journal Issue on Facade Design and Building Systems to provide additional publishing opportunities. High-quality, peer-reviewed full-text papers will be selected for this special issue. The selection process will take place during the review phase and at the conference presentation stage. Papers must not be under consideration for any other journal at the time of submission. The final decision will be made based on peer review reports by the Guest Editors and the Editor-in-Chief. Selected papers will be published online free of charge.
