Back in the fall of 2020 when AN first started regularly compiling academic lecture series presented by a range of top architecture schools, we were, well, in a starkly different place. All events at the time were presented virtually due to the COVID-19 crisis, a necessary move that did have one distinct upside: the shift to online public programming opened the proverbial door for considerably larger audiences unrestrained by pesky practicalities like geographic locale.

A full two years later, lecture series have overwhelmingly transitioned back to in-person affairs (farewell, Zoom Webinar) although many schools smartly continue to offer virtual counterparts for those who would like to join in from further afield.

Below is a non-exhaustive roundup of forthcoming or freshly underway fall 2022 lecture series presented by architecture schools from coast to coast. Specific dates, times, and locations can be confirmed on the events pages of each respective school/program. We’ll update this page as more talks worth scoping out are announced in the coming days.
