Explore how Sea Dreams is setting the stage for an integrated coastal community, fostering a harmonious blend of natural beauty and modern amusement infrastructure.
Sea Dreams is set to become a storybook waterfront marvel, with groundworks contracts valued at a billion Riyals to span 8 kilometers of turquoise blue coastlines, sandy beaches, lagoons, and mangrove trees. The addition of these mangrove trees is of paramount importance for beautifying the shore, preventing beach erosion caused by waves, and providing a habitat for 35 varieties of fish and crustaceans, some of which are of significant dietary value, as well as a plethora of migratory birds. Furthermore, the microorganisms associated with mangroves, like nitrogen-fixing bacteria, further highlight their ecological importance. The amusement area, featuring cutting-edge water park designs and attractions, combined with a variety of relaxation, adventure, and eco-tourism activities, will ultimately give rise to an “integrated coastal community” giving insight into entertainment, education, and environmental appreciation.
