He added that Chancellor Rachel Reeves’ crackdown on tax avoidance among the ultra-wealthy was a key factor in his decision to leave.

According to data from Henley & Partners, the country is expected to lose over 16,500 millionaires this year alone. This is up from 10,800 last year, making it the highest wealth outflow among global economies.
Notable figures such as Richard Gnodde, Vice Chairman of Goldman Sachs, steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal, and property tycoons Ian and Richard Livingstone, have all reportedly left or are planning to relocate.
