About Competition
Jackson’s Painting Prize 2022 now is calling for entries!
This prize exists to champion exceptional artworks made by international creators at all points in their careers, with tailored prizes aimed to give successful applicants the exposure and resources that are most relevant to them.
The competition has the following categories:
- Animal
- Portrait / Figure
- Landscape / Cityscape / Seascape
- Still Life / Botanical
- Abstract / Non-representational
- Scenes of Everyday Life
Artists may submit 2-dimensional fine art works in any painting or drawing media. There are no theme restrictions for pieces you wish to enter for Jackson’s Painting Prize. You can submit up to a total of 5 artworks.
Eligibility
Jackson’s Painting Prize is open to artists from around the world. Any artist of any age can enter the competition, no matter their previous experience or artistic education.
Prize
- Jackson’s Painting Prize: £6000 + £1000 Jackson’s Art Materials
- Amateur Artist Award: £1000 + £500 Jackson’s Art Materials
- Student Award: £1000 + £500 Jackson’s Art Materials
- People’s Choice Award: £1000 + £500 Jackson’s Art Materials
- Material Awards (Oil, Acrylic, Watercolour, Dry Materials): £500 Jackson’s Art Materials each
- Subject Category Awards (Portrait/Figure, Land/city/seascape, Non-representational, Animal, Still Life, Botanical, Scenes of Everyday Life, Mind’s Eye): £500 Jackson’s Art Materials each
