League Prize 2025: Plot

The Architectural League of New York invites young architects and designers to participate in the League Prize 2025: Plot. This competition encourages innovative design work across all mediums and project types, providing a platform for emerging talent to showcase their creativity. Winners will receive a cash prize of $2,000 and have their work featured in lectures, digital media, and installations in June 2025.

Eligibility

The competition is open to residents of the United States, Canada, and Mexico who are ten years or less out of a bachelor’s or master’s degree program. Current students, PhD graduates, and work done as an employee or part of academic programs are not eligible.

Submission Requirements

Entrants must submit a digital portfolio addressing the theme, “Plot,” focusing on how architecture engages with narrative, land, or design schemes. Portfolios must adhere to format and anonymity guidelines outlined by the competition.
