The LEGENDARY BIRD HOME 2021 competition is that the second during a planned series of competitions looking to boost awareness for the worldwide environmental crisis. This competition are going to be a collaboration with Birdly – a socially-responsible startup that aims to support environmental activism worldwide through funds raised by selling bird homes.
Participants are tasked with presenting innovative and attention-grabbing designs for a legendary bird house which will be built reception , using materials and building methods that are both environmentally sustainable and simply available.

Each project will got to include details of the building method and therefore the materials to be used, ensuring that the structure might be built by one person with tools that are widely available. so as to form the project more accessible, simple tools that are available reception are recommended, however, more sophisticated techniques – just like the use of a laser cutter – are often proposed.

The winning designs will receive a share of the prize fund, also as media coverage, and that they are going to be suggests for production and sale on birdly.org, with half the profits donated to chose charities.

Competition is hospitable all. No professional qualification is required. Design proposals are often developed individually or by teams (4 team members maximum). Correspondence with organizers must be conducted in English; All information submitted by participants must be in English.
