Picturing Awards – aims to market photography and photographers. Our idea is to make new opportunities to present valuable work to audiences everywhere the planet . We aim to create an area where photographers can show different points of view and thrive through online exchanges. —-

Our judging panel will comprise highly acclaimed industry professionals, including gallery owners, publishers, editors, and renowned photographers. Humans & Nature
Our relationship with nature has historically been one among imbalance and overuse. Nearly every step in human history has unfortunately been amid a leap in environmental degradation. At first, humans were incredibly in-tune with their surroundings. Nomadic hunter-gatherer tribes wont to roam the lands, following the ebb and flow of the seasons.
These tribes had a measurable impact on the environment, but their influence was relatively manageable thanks to their population size. With advancements in technology and agriculture though, humans began to seek out more efficient ways of sustaining themselves. These advancements allowed for more permanent settlements, which led to rapid increase and a distancing from nature.
This imbalance has potentially caused tons of immeasurable and irreparable damage, which needs an emergency course correction. the target of this challenge is to tell this significant balance between man and nature. The brief/theme of the challenge to form an image story using less than 8 images – along side an idea note
