This year’s SCI-Arc Undergraduate Thesis Weekend are going to be persisted April 23–24, 2021. This year will culminate in an immersive, Undergraduate Thesis Weekend, featuring live-broadcast reviews, so friends and family from everywhere the planet will have the chance to tune and knowledge the boundary-pushing work of SCI-Arc’s 2021 Undergraduate Thesis class. SCI-Arc has also launched a fanatical Undergraduate Thesis 2021 website to preview the review schedule, participating juror list, livestream session links, student work, and more.

Each year, Undergraduate Thesis at SCI-Arc prepares students to articulate, propose, and defend their ideas and positions on architecture also as engage with professionals as peers and colleagues. In their final semester of design studio, students complete the assembly of a year-long thesis project, which addresses an edge in reference to contemporary architectural discourse and presents a highly developed building design project. This year, fifth-year students will show their completed projects during a web Undergraduate Thesis Weekend, a public platform during which over 70 jurors, critics, and architecture professionals from round the globe converge to debate , debate, and dispute emerging questions in architecture.

Undergraduate Thesis Weekend Schedule (all times in PST)
Friday April 23 Morning Session

  • Session 1-A: 1pm – 4:30pm
  • Session 1-B: 1pm – 4:30pm

Saturday April 24 Morning Session

  • Session 2-A: 9am – 12pm
  • Session 2-B: 9am – 12pm
  • Session 2-C: 9am – 12pm
  • Session 2-D: 9am – 12pm
  • Session 2-E: 9am – 12pm

Saturday April 24 Afternoon Session

  • Session 3-A: 1pm – 4:30pm
