The implementation of the Standard Beach Project in Al Khobar, which is being built on an area exceeding 120 thousand square meters, has witnessed remarkable progress
According to the official announcement from the Eastern Province Municipality and the Eastern Development Authority, this project is the first of its kind in the Kingdom to implement the “Blue Flag” standards.
The infrastructure and basic facilities are currently being developed, including walking and swimming areas, green spaces, and tourist facilities.

The project enjoys great support from local and national leaders, including the directives of the Governor of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, and his deputy, Prince Ahmed bin Fahd bin Salman, in addition to the follow-up and support of the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Majid Al-Hogail.
The project is also being implemented in strategic partnership between the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing and the Eastern Development Authority.
