The 1st STELSI International Metaverse Architecture Competition

In the era of the Metaverse Renaissance, characterized by the advancements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and artificial intelligence technology, a new concept of empathy is required. STELSI recognizes the importance of architecture in representing people’s identities within the metaverse.

While food and clothing serve as avatars and items, housing plays an even more significant role in shaping our virtual existence. Architecture emerges from the dynamic interplay between humans, the environment, beliefs, and values. Architects, through this interaction, have the power to design spaces that transcend mere functionality and imbue them with profound meaning, thereby elevating our existence.

Furthermore, Within the expanded temporal dimension of the metaverse, architects assume a crucial role. Also, They can manipulate dimensions, harmonize chance and inevitability, and reignite the potential for coexistence. Therefore, By placing human, environmental, belief, and temporal interactions at the core of spatial and place design, architects unlock creative possibilities that enrich our existence within the metaverse.

Moreover, One of the remarkable aspects of the metaverse is its potential for spatially reorganizing information and revolutionizing how we explore it. Also, Architects equipped with this opportunity can craft environments that facilitate the discovery and understanding of information in novel and engaging ways.

Additionally, By integrating human experiences, environmental contexts, belief systems, and temporal dynamics, architects can foster the emergence of creative ideas that enhance our existence in the metaverse. Also, By centering spatial and place design around these fundamental interactions, architects contribute to a future where the metaverse becomes a platform for profound expression and coexistence.

Moreover, Together with you, STELSI will redefine new spaces and places in the age of the metaverse. To that end, we are holding a metaverse architecture competition to see what innovative and creative ideas you have to enrich our existence.
