Overview

This competition invites designers to transform Villa Meneghetti, a historic yet abandoned Venetian villa in northern Italy, into a slow-tourism Agriturismo. The challenge is to preserve its architectural heritage while enhancing its functionality for a modern, immersive hospitality experience.

Participants have full creative freedom to propose interventions that respect the villa’s historical character while seamlessly integrating contemporary needs. The competition promotes sustainable tourism and cultural preservation, fostering a deeper connection between architecture, nature, and local traditions.
