Treehouse

Treehouse

Casa Sperimentale (also known as Casa Albero, Treehouse).
Located in Fregene, a seaside town near Rome, Italy.
Built by a family of Italian architects, Giuseppe Perugini with Uga de Plaisant and Raynaldo Perugini, during the 1968 and 1975. The unique building, which combines brutalist style and organic architecture philosophy, was conceived as an architectural experiment and a villa for weekends.
In 2018, when the photos were taken, the villa was abandoned and subjected to numerous acts of vandalism, resulting in damage to some elements and a lot of graffiti.
The complex is currently undergoing restoration work under the direction of Raynaldo Perugini.
