Tremend Architects to Design the Interiors of Crowne Plaza Paris – Marne-la-Vallée
Tremend Studio is working on a new project in France. The renowned architectural practice has once again been invited to collaborate with Crowne Plaza – the premium brand of the global IHG Hotels & Resorts group. Tremend’s architects will be responsible for the redevelopment and interior design of the Crowne Plaza Paris – Marne-la-Vallée hotel, located in Magny-le-Hongre, near Paris and Disneyland Paris.
New Challenges on the French Market
This is not the first time Tremend’s architects have had the opportunity to design for the Crowne Plaza brand. Previously, the studio developed renovation and interior design concepts for the brand’s hotels in Budapest and Warsaw. It is also another project by Polish architects on French soil. In recent years, Tremend has completed three hotel projects within the Paris metropolitan area: the redevelopment of Golden Tulip Villepinte Roissy Parc des Expositions, the interiors of Tulip Hotels & Residences in Joinville-Le-Pont, and the boutique Alberte Hotel in Paris, where the architects were responsible not only for the interiors but also for the renovation and restoration of a historic 19th-century townhouse.
Tremend’s distinctive design approach and extensive experience in the HoReCa sector have led to further competition wins and new commissions in France.
“This is the result of over 25 years of work – a combination of accumulated experience, specialist know-how, and the flexibility to respond to the evolving needs of guests and staff, as well as to current design trends such as the pursuit of sustainable and environmentally responsible solutions,” says architect Magdalena Federowicz-Boule, founder and CEO of Tremend.
In the Vicinity of Paris and Disneyland
The Crowne Plaza Paris – Marne-la-Vallée will be located in Magny-le-Hongre, a town in the Seine-et-Marne department, known for its picturesque architecture, rich cultural heritage, and natural landscapes. In its immediate vicinity lies Disneyland Paris, one of Europe’s most popular theme parks.
The new IHG Hotels & Resorts property will offer 250 guest rooms, two restaurants, two bars, a banquet and conference hall, wellness and fitness areas, as well as indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Tremend’s architects are responsible for the redevelopment and extension of the existing building and for the complete interior design concept.
Storytelling as a Way to Build Experience
As with all Tremend projects, the interior concept for this hotel is rooted in storytelling inspired by the local context, designed to create a unique guest experience. The project also reflects the character of the Crowne Plaza brand, known for its warm, inviting interiors that serve not only as places to stay, but also as spaces for meetings, work, and building relations.
The interior design concept for Crowne Plaza Paris – Marne-la-Vallée is based on three stylistic themes, each creating a distinct atmosphere.
“Paths of Parks and Silence” captures the tranquility of nature – cool blues, muted greens, and soft greys evoke the calm of early morning park alleys. “Shades of Magic” brings the elegance of evening – deep purples, ink black, and bottle green paired with brass reflections to create a theatrical, refined mood. Finally, “Beyond the City Horizon” introduces warmth and hospitality through natural materials, pastel beiges, ochres, and wooden textures that envelop guests in a sense of homely comfort. The key objective was to design a sequence of spaces that engage the senses and invite discovery of successive layers of the story.
Projects Across Europe
According to IHG Hotels & Resorts representatives, Crowne Plaza Paris – Marne-la-Vallée is scheduled to open in the second half of 2026. In recent months, several other international hotels designed by Tremend have welcomed their first guests, including Pullman Old Town Riga, Mövenpick Budapest, and Tulip Residences Lviv. The studio is currently working on further projects in Strasbourg, Barcelona, Ljubljana, Chișinău, and the seaside resort of Durrës in Albania.
