The Unbuilt Award 2025 by Buildner is a global design competition that celebrates the power of unbuilt architecture. Open to all—regardless of qualification or nationality—it invites visionary designers to submit unrealized projects that showcase creativity, ambition, and transformative potential. With a €100,000 prize fund, three size-based categories, a custom-designed trophy by Germans Ermičs, and a chance to earn a paid internship at ArchDaily, the competition offers unparalleled global exposure and recognition.

Submission Details:

  • Submit any unbuilt project: conceptual, visionary, or previously unpublished.
  • Projects must fall within the category size limits:
    • Small: ≤100 m²
    • Medium: 101–999 m²
    • Large: ≥1,000 m²
  • Submit entries by the final deadline: 20 November 2025 at 23:59 (London time).
  • To be eligible for the ArchDaily internship, include a CV in PDF format with your entry.
