GRAND PRIZE: $1000

BRIEF
We are just getting to begin and say it, we miss restaurants! They represent quite simply places to eat, they’re an immediate connection to the culture of an area and other people . 2020 wasn’t kind to restaurants round the world. Thousands of establishments have closed already and chances, are more will draw in the months to return . How can design be a light-weight during a dark time?

At DesignClass we are hooked in to exploring how design can have a positive impact on people’s lives. This mission can form in how people live and work but it also can be found in how people enjoy themselves. Few things are as central to how citizenry enjoy themselves as food.

We don’t believe a restaurant has got to be fancy or grand but it does need to be inviting and serve its community.

This is your challenge, design your dream restaurant. Any style, any place, just make it awesome. Help us remember that good times are to return which within the future we’ll once more have places to eat, celebrate, and gather. Places which will be luxurious, simple, bright, dark, or maybe exotic. most significantly , places where we will connect with our community and luxuriate in each other’s company.

Use this competition as a chance to expand your creative energy and hunt down new worlds and possibilities.

DESIGN GUIDELINES
