Nicolai Paris, France, by NOA

Inside this converted hotel, exists a Marais apartment designed by Architecture. It has been furnished with an assortment of custom-made oak furniture. Displayed in the living room is a fashionable built-in window seat, designed to double as both a comfortable seating option and useful storage space. Its curved silhouette is accentuated by the black-leather cushions and pillows, providing a stark contrast to the pristine white walls and bleached oak parquet with its signature chevron pattern.

Villa Wienberg, Denmark, by Wienberg Architects and Friis & Moltke

Danish architects Mette and Martin Wienberg, in collaboration with studio Friis & Moltke. Revamped an existing 1940s cottage to make it a cozy home for their family. The interior has wooden panelling. From which a low-slung window seat in the living space to also act as a bench. Further comfort has matching pillows and a soft sheepskin rug.

Maison Jericho, France, by Olivia Fauvelle Architecture

French studio Olivia Fauvelle Architecture refurbished and extended an outbuilding based in Marseille. A concrete window seat with the living room to generate an inside-outside bridge and offer stunning views of the tiled terrace, equipped with a pool, and topped off with a leather daybed for a peaceful environment. A wood-burning stove was over the window seat, lending an additional level of comfort to the area.
