WOLF RIGS PATTON HUMMER CAMPER
Colorado-based company Wolf Rigs has transformed a classic Hummer H1 into the Patton, a ‘go-anywhere overland comfort castle’. The newly unveiled camper takes advantage of the vehicle’s military heritage by presenting a sturdy all-aluminum exterior while maintaining a luxurious interior design that is anything but military-style spartan. The overlanding vehicle features many of the modern RV constructions’ standard amenities, including a queen-size bed, a generous L-shaped lounge area, a roomy shower, and more.

combining military exterior & cozy fully-equipped interior
The Wolf Rigs Patton, which takes its name after the famed war film, is the first product of the Colorado-based company whose mission is to inspire adventure by expertly combining a vehicle’s agility with all the comforts of home. Thanks to its military roots, the original Hummer H1 makes an excellent basis for the new overlander. The Patton fits an extra-large lounge area, a queen-size bed, and a fully-equipped kitchenette into an angular cab-over package that suits the H1 perfectly. The kitchenette incorporates a two-burner stove, sink, and slide-out fridge, while the bathroom in the back features a patented concealed toilet.
Although the H1 is known for being quite wide, the new RV is 86.5 inches wide including mirrors. That makes the Patton narrower than similar chunky overlanders. The overland vehicle has an all-aluminum frame and shell, with its exterior rear doors opening to reveal a massive storage compartment that houses various vehicle accessories including a jack, jerry cans, spare wheel and tire, and an extendable ladder. What’s more, the Hummer features 16 inches of ground clearance and has a new drivetrain. On top, 800 watts of solar power keeps the lights on and the food cold.
