World Architecture Festival 2023

The search for the world’s best building continues as the World Architecture Festival extends the entry deadline for its annual global awards program to Monday 22 May. The 16th edition of the festival is open for award entries in 44 categories across architecture and interiors.

World Architecture Festival (WAF) is where the world architecture community meets to celebrate, learn, exchange, and be inspired. This year, for the first time since 2015, the festival returns to Singapore on 29 November – 1 December.

WAF is the world’s largest annual, international, live architectural event. It includes the largest live architectural awards program in the world, dedicated to celebrating excellence via live presentations to an audience of high-profile delegates and international juries.

All shortlisted practices will present their proposals live, in front of festival delegates and the esteemed judging panels. Previous judges include Tracy Meller, Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners; Jo Noero, Noero Architects; John Wardle, John Wardle Architects; Issa Diabaté, Koffi & Diabaté Architectes, and Murat Tabanlioglu, Tabanlioglu Architects.

World Architecture Festival comprises of:

-A thematic conference program
-Live judging of finalists ‘projects
-Gallery of all award entries
-Exhibition area
-Networking and social events including partner fringe events
-Gala dinner announcing the overall winners

Alongside the World Architecture Festival sits its sister awards program, Inside World Festival of Interiors. Inside is a feast of creativity, inspiration, and knowledge for the interiors industry and delegates have access to both events. Comprising the most original and exciting interiors from the last 12 months, projects can be entered across 11 diverse categories.

Architects and designers can submit their completed buildings, future projects, landscape and interior designs before the final entry deadline of 22 May 2023 and ArchDaily readers can enjoy a 20% discount when they enter the code ARCHDAILY23 at the checkout.
