By blending the lines between fashion and technology, LAYER brilliantly develops unique eyewear called VITURE One.
For US tech start-up Viture, design firm LAYER creates the “VITURE One,” a next-generation device and entertainment glasses that integrates cutting-edge technology into incredibly thin, light, and fashionable frames.
These smart lifestyle glasses put a 120-inch virtual screen in front of the user with maximum immersion. Therefore, allowing them to watch media or play games without a traditional screen.
You can link this cutting-edge device to allow viewing or multiplayer gaming with others and is compatible with virtually all streaming providers and gaming platforms.
Its traditional frame, which weighs just 78g with a basic design with fine details, provides a high level of comfort.
The eyewear’s ergonomic design also includes a replaceable nose bridge that simply fits into the keyhole feature to accommodate a variety of facial configurations.
It also has straightforward controls and a battery, and comes with a semi-flexible, collar-like neckband that houses the potent CPU and GPU.
In addition to providing excellent music quality, it effortlessly incorporates a rear-facing speaker module placed in the temple.
The use of clever heat-release engineering guarantees that consumers can enjoy it for hours without it heating up.
Short-sighted users can also adapt the display to their prescription for consistently crisp, clear images.
These unique glasses’ curved shapes and wrapped edges hide the OLED display. Therefore, producing a virtual screen that gives them a discrete appearance.
“The market for smart eyewear is often dominated by unnecessarily complex, technically advanced frames. We sought to give the antithesis of this tendency when we created VITURE One, says LAYER founder Benjamin Hubert.
