Young Visionary Architecture Competition 2023

We are thrilled to present the Young Visionary Architecture Competition 2023 (YVAC 2023), a global competition inspired by renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Popularly known as the “Father of Architecture,” Wright left a tremendous impact on the fields of design and construction. He maintained a strong belief in harmonizing structures with the natural environment — a concept still relevant in the modern age. Despite his remarkable 1,100 built works, Wright also created 660 unbuilt projects with visionary themes and ideas. The Young Visionary Architecture Competition 2023 seeks to honor Wright’s legacy by calling on young architects and designers from all over the world to explore and investigate the realm of unbuilt projects. Using creativity and inventiveness, they should strive to envision future built structures. Young professionals and graduates are all eligible to participate in the project-based competition, which consists of 10 categories and 10 jury members, and offers 10 internships.

Eligibility

Those wishing to participate in the competition must currently be studying or hold a degree in Architecture, Urban Design, or closely related fields, and those who have obtained their degree in 2018 or more are also eligible. Entries can be made either individually (by one participant) or as a team of up to four members. If entering as a team, all members must meet the criteria requirements stated above. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.

In addition to the internships prize, a cash award will be given, along with providing services and taking architecture courses.
