Inspired by Carmel’s cypress trees and coastal terrain, 22RE layered materials that evoke the outdoors:
– Terracotta tiles (Zia Tile) shift from straight-stack to herringbone patterns, guiding movement from the store’s entrance to its fitting rooms.
– Scalloped walls, finished in Portola’s Brooks Roman Clay, mimic rolling dunes, while vertical Douglas fir boards frame doorways and mirrors—a subtle homage to golf course timber.
