Position Overview: They are seeking a talented and dedicated AutoCAD expert to join their team as a Technical Designer. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bringing their retail design from concepts to life, ensuring that they align with their clients’ visions and meet their high-quality standards. This position requires a strong understanding of retail design, the ability to collaborate with suppliers and clients, and a knack for solving complex design challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage detailed AutoCAD drawings for retail design projects.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and Contract Managers to ensure project objectives are met.
- Work with suppliers to source materials, fixtures, and furnishings while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
- Act as a confident liaison between the team and clients, ensuring effective communication and client satisfaction.
- Identify and resolve design-related issues and challenges to maintain project timelines.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus but not essential.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software with a strong portfolio highlighting their technical skills in retail design.
- Previous experience in retail design is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated knowledge of suppliers and materials commonly used in retail spaces.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with both suppliers and clients.
