Ayaneo has unveiled the Pocket DS, a groundbreaking Android-powered handheld gaming console inspired by classic dual-screen designs. This innovative device, dubbed the “first true dual-screen Android portable,” allows users to multitask across both displays simultaneously—whether gaming on the top screen while browsing guides, streaming music, or even running a second game on the bottom screen. With seamless app switching and drag-and-drop functionality between screens, the Pocket DS also dedicates its secondary display to system metrics like CPU usage, battery life, and console settings, creating a dynamic hybrid of gaming and productivity.

The 7-inch primary OLED screen boasts 1080p resolution, a buttery 165Hz refresh rate, and HDR support, adapting brightness automatically to conserve battery. Meanwhile, the 5-inch secondary LCD (4:3 aspect ratio, 1024×768 resolution) caters to retro gaming and multitasking.
