In the heart of Eco Park district, two adjacent venues stand out, offering different experiences while sharing a warm and welcoming atmosphere: Bacetti Trattoria and Bar Bacetti.

From Trattoria to Bar

  • Bacetti Trattoria: Over the years, it has become a key landmark in the district, serving Italian cuisine with a traditional spirit that blends simplicity with depth.
  • Bar Bacetti: Came later to offer a distinctive addition. The bar features an indoor and outdoor pizza lounge, giving visitors flexibility in ambiance and experience.

The Art of “Light Dining”

Bar Bacetti celebrates the so-called art of light dining, an Italian tradition that balances drinks with small accompanying dishes. This concept goes beyond food; it reflects a social lifestyle centered on sharing and relaxation.

Design Reflecting the Spirit of Italian Bars

Stayner Architects redesigned the space to emulate the authentic character of Italian bars. This is evident through carefully considered architectural details, such as the use of elegant marble, a vintage espresso machine, and an ornate clock above the bar. Together, these elements give the venue a visual identity that carries the spirit of the past with a contemporary touch.

Between Interior and Local Art

The space allows visitors to sit either at the bar or around small tables with full service, creating an intimate atmosphere. Meanwhile, the shelves that were previously reserved for wine bottles have been transformed into a mini art gallery featuring a precise laser-cut metal artwork by local artist Matt Lips, inspired by landmarks from the neighborhood itself.

Seamless Connection to the Outdoors

The exposed wooden ceiling complements this interior design, providing a smooth transition to the outdoor terrace. This terrace, besides being an open space, is dog-friendly and ideal for observing street activity while enjoying sunset moments.

The “Aperitivo” Tradition

Owner Jason Goldman describes the aperitivo as one of the great Italian pleasures, where people gather during the golden hour between 3 PM and 5 PM. During this time, drinks are served with a complimentary savory snack, such as red peppers stuffed with tuna, capers, and anchovies. This daily ritual reflects a social and cultural aspect deeply rooted in Italian life.

A Menu with an Innovative Spirit

The menu was created by chef Jonathan Salinas with the assistance of Jenny Oshida. Among its highlights is the focaccia stuffed with Stracchino cheese, featuring thin, delicate layers close to flatbread. It is usually recommended to pair it with a classic drink like an Aperol Spritz or a non-alcoholic Negroni based on Seedlip extract.

Pizza and Italian Desserts Program

Additionally, the venue hosts Bar Bacetti’s pizza program, which was previously part of the trattoria menu. The experience concludes with a sweet touch combining tiramisu and olive oil cake, complemented by locally made Limoncello, completing the scene with a balanced traditional flavor profile.
