Construction Underway — Some Projects Nearing Completion

Several developments are already under construction, with progress varying from site to site. Some are approaching final stages, while others are just beginning. Among the key projects:

  • In Salman City, the Al Naseem project is nearing completion, with 79% of construction completed and electricity already connected. The project includes 131 units and is currently in the final finishing phase.
  • In Bu Hair, the Al Wadi project is moving steadily, with 59% completion recorded for its planned 76 units.
  • In Hawrat Sanad, the Sanad Housing Project is still in the early stages, with 15% of work completed at the foundation level. It will provide 47 units once finished.

The projects are being developed on plots ranging between 10,000 and 23,000 square meters, allowing for well-distributed urban expansion that reflects Bahrain’s strategy to address population growth.

Gradual Delivery and Strong Public Interest

Some units are expected to be delivered before the end of this year, while the rest will be completed within the announced timeframe. Reports also confirm that some projects have already sold out via pre-booking, signaling strong demand from Bahraini citizens.

Public-Private Partnerships Driving Momentum

Large-scale developments such as Khalifa City, which includes more than 3,000 housing units, are being carried out in partnership with leading local and international real estate developers. These collaborations are helping to accelerate timelines and expand architectural diversity.

A Concrete Step Toward Solving the Housing Crisis

These projects represent a practical approach to addressing Bahrain’s housing challenges, through fast-tracked implementation, private sector involvement, and the provision of modern housing within tight deadlines. The government hopes this initiative will positively impact the quality of life and community stability.
