Calzavara Tower Coating Design
Calzavara and Desall are seeking innovative ideas for the “Calzavara Tower Coating Design” competition. The goal is to create new coatings that enhance the aesthetics of telecommunications towers, aiming to improve their integration into the urban landscape and transform them into architectural icons. Participants are invited to design the aesthetic coating of the architectural towers, considering all aspects from material and texture selection to lighting design that enhances the towers’ visual appeal at night. Additionally, the integration of technological elements that offer functional benefits beyond aesthetics, such as reducing management costs or generating income through advertising space, is encouraged. Solutions that creatively combine different materials, particularly those that are ecological and sustainable, will be especially valued.
