Croatia Inspireli Competition for students is open

As a part of the 8th Annual Inspireli awards, the Edu-Project Croatia / Miris Garden competition is now open. It is a unique educational project that gives students a chance to influence the face of 150,000 m2 large development project of a total investment value of approximately 100 million EUR in Starigrad Paklenica, Croatia.

Croatia competition is a part of Inspireli Awards, the world’s largest global student contest, with participants from 150 countries and 830+ architects on the jury. It is a sub-category of the Awards and it is the 5th year to compete for a to-be-built project. And this time it has an educational character.

STUDENTS meet PRACTICE

This competition allows students to shape the final design and to work with product and technology suppliers from design to implementation. Therefore, giving them practical experience and bridging academia with practice, connecting students with professionals.

Additionally, technology consultants of the manufacturing companies are at hand to consult about different materials and technologies.

Individual manufacturing processes and on-site assembly will be on our social channels throughout the project.

Competition Assignment

“Design an example of the socially and environmentally sustainable year-round holiday resort of the 21st century!”

Approximately 120 residential buildings / 9-12 multifunctional buildings (restaurants, bars, cafes, spa / fitness, coworking center, marina, sports facilities, etc.).

Furthermore, the masterplan is divided into 8 zones in accordance with land use, specific standards and regulations. Participants are free to choose to design any, a few or all the buildings from the proposed masterplan. Also, students can upload each zone project as a separate submission or put them together in one project.

Innovative Solution Award

Design an unconventional solution with sustainability (Materials, Technology) and consideration (Nature, Local people, Local customs and traditions) in mind. A special prize will be awarded to the project that offers an unconventional to innovative solution that best reflects the requirements of sustainability and consideration. Regardless of the feasibility of the project.

Prizes

The winners will be Prague to the INSPIRELI TEAM CROATIA to meet the lead architectural studio. And 3D company and to learn the practical aspect of design. Moreover, their name will be displayed on the building designed and they will receive lot of promotion within our marketing activities. Winners will be at the opening ceremony and enjoy 10 days at the resort for free upon its completion in 2026.
