The eleventh Bloomberg CityLab, the leading global cities summit organized by Bloomberg Philanthropies in collaboration with the Aspen Institute, will take place in Mexico City from October 14 to October 16, 2024. The summit will bring together over 500 mayors, policymakers, innovators, and creatives from around the world.

Focus for 2024

This year’s summit will highlight the role of cities in shaping the outcomes of national, legislative, and local elections, as half of the world’s population will be living in places conducting such elections. The summit will delve into the urban policies that have propelled leaders, such as Mexico City’s former mayor, to national prominence. Discussions will explore how the advancements in Mexico City and other municipalities across Mexico and Latin America can inspire and inform global urban development.
