KiKi ARCHi has created a library that evokes the Fibonacci spiral of seashell creatures in Beijing, China.

Named Homelinker Bookstore, the 200-square-meter bookstore was designed for famous enterprise Beike to convey the brand philosophy.

The space was conceived as “natural and serene, at the same time open and shared”,

The space is full of positive force, evoking the Fibonacci spiral of seashell creatures.

The interior space is drawn with a rounded and defined path to create a comprehensive spiritual space.

If the office space carries the energy and creativity of an institution, the unique library,

which appears as the third space, constitutes the ideological and cultural part.

The library design process begins with site selection.

Each of the eight floors of the office building has a different viewing angle.

Finally, KiKi ARCHi placed the library in a separate area on the second floor with a large curved glass window.

The most impressive scene in this space is that of the green tree outside the window.

Design features

The height of the tree crown forms a natural green barrier, bringing peace and stability to the interior,

and the sight of leafy leaves also signifies continuous growth under spiritual nourishment.

The entrance to the library is located at the top of a grand staircase,

which deliberately does not strengthen the feeling of entering the ceremony but takes the white arch element as a single sign overflowing into the space to express the light and genius atmosphere.

Meanwhile, Hui Zhou, founder of Beike, collected the painting titled “My Dream”,

Pure and frank expression, in response to the origin and state of mind at the beginning of the company’s founding.

This white entrance integrates with the technological style of the office building environment,

while the zigzag movement line is about to open inwards.

Upon entering the library, the white aluminum lattice corridor provides a sense of a chain-walking experience.

The sculpture, created by artist Maoyuan Yang, is placed in the corner,

showing the primary color of the mother-of-pearl and the good wishes of the Marnyi stone.

Amidst a circle of artistic atmosphere, visitors will arrive at the library’s central display area, the Founder’s Manuscript Wall.

This semi-enclosed circular space is made up of two curved sections, providing space for lingering and reflection.

Sections use a transparent design style to create a dialogue between time and space.

and allowing ideas to collide and meet here, and then spread through innumerable fragments,

inspiring a new understanding of things.
