Architecture Competition: International Contest for Urban Regeneration of Plan Malaga Litoral central area. Málaga, Spain

The Plan Malaga Litoral is a huge masterplan for the city of Málaga, Spain. This masterplan includes a 2,3km buried tunnel to eliminate surface traffic. The international contest seeks to provide an architectural and landscaping solution for the surface of this tunnel and other main central areas of the city. In the first phase, six teams will be selected in base of their experience in urban regeneration masterplans, parks and squares and in base of their achievements and awards. This six teams will receive 30.000 € to make an architectural and technical proposal. The winner will be selected by an expert jury and will win a contract of 270.000€ to develop their project to the level of preliminary project.
