The Lab Art Prize MILAN’22 was opened for entries, and it invites entries from all types of artists,
professional hobbyists, illustrators, and graphic designers.
About the competition
The Lab Art Prize ROME’22 is a call for applications, which were recently announced for entries, and are open to all types of artists.
The following types of works are accepted: drawing, coloring, sculpture, photography, mixed media, video, graphics, network art, and others.
It allows all visual work that can be reproduced through the image.
Furthermore, there is no size or material restrictions on the work and each work must be submitted with a photo and description.
In the case of works consisting of several elements, the single submitted image must collect all the elements.
Evaluation standard
The award will be given based on the quality and originality of the work presented.
Winners will be announced on December 12, 2022.
Eligibility
The competition is aimed at professional and amateur artists, graphic designers, illustrators, photographers and others from all over the world.
Prize
Art Acquisition Award
Malamegi Lab will receive one of the 12 final artworks.
This artwork will become part of Malamegi Lab’s private collection.
The maximum purchase price is €5000.00.
Artwork that is not for sale or at a price higher than the acquisition prize will not participate in this prize.
While these artworks will still be able to win one of the other prizes.
Cooperation agreement
Malamegi is also pulling out the creation of a new batch of works, by selecting one artist from among 12 finalists for the competition.
This collaboration will enable the artist to develop a full range of his works, which will be announced and presented to all buyers of the trade network.
Cash prize
At the end of the group exhibition, one of the 12 selected artists will be awarded a cash prize of 1,000 euros.
The prize will be awarded based on the quality and originality of the work displayed,
and the winning work will remain the property of the artist.
Furthermore, the award is a contribution to the development of art and aesthetic research for the artist.
Monograph catalog
It will also be an individual book for one of the finalists.
Individual work will be organized by the Malamegi Lab with the support of the final exhibition curators.
The book will also be edited, developed, printed and distributed at Malamegi Lab expenses.
A second copy will be added for the artist’s personal use, regardless of which copies are distributed.
Therefore, the study contains 100 copies, of which 20 will be for the artist.
Finally, studies will be distributed by Malamegi on behalf of its best clients and collectors.
