Masquespacio reflects Barcelona’s artistic creativity in the interiors of FC Barcelona,

A giant green castle, a car in the shape of a whale,

and amazing pieces of furniture scattered randomly.

At a Lynk & Co. club hopping brand in Barcelona, Spain.

Named after FC Barcelona, the project was designed by Valencia-based interior design studio Masquespacio.

It marks the first project of the design studio for the Sino-Swedish car brand Lynk & Co in Barcelona.

Inspired by the artistic creativity of Barcelona that fuses disciplines such as art, design and music,

The interiors design is seen as a unique experience that

“not only reinvents mobility, but also provides an innovative and sustainable meeting place”.

The goal of the project is to evoke Lynk & Co’s philosophy of “not pretending to be a traditional brand,

But presenting itself as an option for the new generations who are looking for a sustainable lifestyle filled with experiences that deviate from the norms.”

The club is located on Paseo de Gracia, as if it were a utopia.

Design features

Given the same context, the Spanish design studio looked to connect different spaces with Barcelona known

for its creativity and distinguished worldwide for being a hub for artistic disciplines such as art, design and music.

The main goal of the project was to “respect the interior architecture of the space in its brutalist style” full of flaws.

This pattern will create a perfect focal point with the pattern applied in other Lynk & Co clubs.

The design team added different spaces where each has its own representation and use,

Inspired by a theme related to creativity such as architecture, film, music, and more.

For example, upon entry, visitors are greeted by a gigantic,

reflective green castle containing matching rooms with a warping effect that clearly shows that in Lynk & Co’s new Barcelona, there is nothing conventional.

There is also a car in the shape of a 3D whale,

while in the bathrooms visitors will find a show of lights and sounds that will remind them of their favorite childhood movie.

In the space above, visitors can find exhibition areas with sustainable elements identified as Lynk & Co.,

Along with unexpected co-working areas like the pool behind an old secure door that was in the space before.

The new Lynk & Co. in Barcelona offers a venue that is versatile and can be adapted to any event, with a colorful yet sophisticated design, full of utopias to be discovered.

And Lynk & Co. has created the perfect alternative to spending a morning negotiating at the dealership: the Clubs.
