Competition Brief

Intent

The NY Architectural Design Awards endeavor to proclaim the value of the above-mentioned fields, namely, architecture, interior design, urban planning, and sustainable development. The contest brings to the forefront the works that are beautiful, creative, and more.

Purpose

The awards aim to highlight not only the very best in design but also the ones that make a difference socially. They invite architects and designers to offer up imaginative answers that smartly transform the environment while being considerate of nature and culture.

Requirements

The contest is open to professional architects, interior designers, urban planners, and students from all over the world. The range of submissions is broad; they can be either built or conceptual projects. The competition is judged based on four criteria: design quality, creativity, execution, and the importance of the work to the current architectural practice.
