[POST – COLLAPSE] pursues the next generation of design furniture. It is an art piece series that has established a worldview that has collapsed the current furniture type and concept and designed furniture to be placed in it. These are four art pieces designed with the motif of the near future depicted in science fiction movies and novels. Based on the details and structures that can be found in high-tech or near-future structures, it was designed as a metaphor by adding imagination. The designer has created four artpieces that reveal their presence in space by adding near-future elements to objects now called “furniture.”

A stool with a seat in the form of 18 squares. It is an object that represents existence like a sculpture in living space, in which the carved top is arranged like a reflective plate of a radar to form a vanishing point.
18개의 나열된 사각형의 상판을 가진 스툴. 조각나있는 상판이 레이더의 반사판과 같이 라운딩되어 하나의 소실점을 이루는 형태로, 리빙스페이스에서 조각적인 뉘앙스를 풍기는 아트피스이다.

Hanger with overlapping rectangular frames. It is an exhibition-type hanger that can show off the presence of a piece of clothing by breaking away from the existing hanger for just hanging. The wire catches the tension, drawing attention to the clothes, and expressing the nuance of the exhibits in the frame.
사각형 프레임이 중첩되는 형태의 행거. 기존의 걸어놓기 위한 행거를 탈피해 의류 한 점의 존재감을 과시할 수 있는 전시형태의 행거이다. 와이어가 텐션을 잡아주어 옷에 시선이 집중되며 프레임 안에 담긴 전시품의 뉘앙스를 표출한다.

Six-panel angle-moving stand lighting. The panels were designed from mechanical sources used in the high-tech/space industry. The pale white light that leaks through the translucent panels envelops the cold near-future space.
여섯개의 갓의 각도가 움직이는 스탠드 조명. 패널들이 펼쳐지는 형태는 첨단/우주산업에 사용되는 기계적인 소스에서 착안해 디자인되었다. 반투명한 패널들 사이로 새어나오는 주백색의 빛은 차가운 근미래의 공간을 감싸준다.

A storage module consisting of three cubes. Each storage module draws attention, and it becomes a medium of “exhibition” that highlights storage items beyond furniture that stores in space.
세개의 정육면체로 이루어진 수납함. 각각의 수납모듈로 시선이 집중되는 형태로, 공간 속에서 수납을 하는 가구를 넘어 수납품을 돋보이게 하는 '전시'의 매개체가 되어준다.

구조적이고 형태가변적인 트레이로 구성된 소형 아트오브제 시리즈이다.

It is a Sharp pencil Pot designed by metaphorically expressing rockets and rocket fuel cylinders. It is an object created in the design language of the POST-COLLAPSE series.
연료탱크가 아랫쪽에 달린 로켓의 형상에서 착안해 디자인된 샤프펜슬꽂이. 샤프심을 연료에 은유했으며
POST-COLLAPSE 시리즈의 디자인언어가 묻어나오는 오브제이다.

A variable tray that can be rolled in a round shape using wire or can be spread out and used flat. It is an interesting form of small object that shares the design language with the yA-18 stool.

공유하는 재미있는 형태의 소형 오브제이다.
POST-COLLAPSE, the concept set by the designer, is a worldview in which the concept and shape of existing furniture have collapsed. The form was constructed through observation and imagination of advanced technologies in the near future, and the concept was metaphorically created.
SF영화나 소설에서 묘사하는 근미래의 모든 물건에는 우리가 “진보했다”, “미래적이다”, “기술집약적이다”는 느낌을 받게 하는 형태와 구조들이 있다. 발전된 기술들에 대한 관찰과 상상을 통해 만들어진 형상과 형태를 현재의 가구에 대입, 메타포화 할 수 있는 가까운 미래와 현재의 사이 어딘가에 집중했다. 이때 우리가 생각하는 가구의 형태는 붕괴되고 새로운 형태로 재구성된다. 시리즈네임 'POST-COLLAPSE'는 [후붕괴], [붕괴후] 라는 뜻으로, 기존의 개념과 형태가 붕괴된 세계관이며 디자이너는 그 안에서의 오브제를 표현하고자 한다.
