Powerless City / Competition!

SYNOPSIS

The second round of competitions to address concerns of the future began in 2020.
In keeping with our approach, we suggest 9+2 themes or eleven important subjects to address. Instead of a program, a research ecosystem made up of numerous competitions that are all running concurrently and examining the same subject from diverse angles

The sixth theme of our exploration will be ENERGY.

QUICK SUMMARY

The first ever truly global energy crisis is currently taking place.

Participants are asked to submit conceptual ideas for a world without a global energy grid in which cities, buildings, units, or even single people would need to be completely self-sufficient in terms of energy, either through the use of renewable energies or innovative new methods of producing and storing it.

REQUIREMENTS

Non-architecture competitions are open to all people, regardless of age or culture, whether they are working in teams or on their own.
