Research Associate – Advanced Building Facade Design

Loughborough University (CREST) in collaboration with partners from Nottingham University and Exeter University are undertaking a program of fundamental and applied research to develop advanced façade technologies to achieve significant reductions in building energy demands. The activities at CREST are focused primarily on faced component and building energy modelling, switchable vacuum glazing development, advanced transpired solar collectors and low-cost compact inter seasonal storage.  

Applicants must have at minimum a good degree in engineering or physical science (or equivalent), have or imminently about to be awarded a PhD and experience of undertaking a long term detailed experimental and theoretical research project successfully.
