This project is led by ABB Robotics in partnership with San Francisco-based Cosmic Buildings. It employs advanced ABB IRB 6710 robots alongside RobotStudio software. This creates a highly accurate digital twin of the construction process. The system integrates artificial intelligence with Cosmic’s AI-driven Building Information Modeling (BIM). This facilitates design, permitting, procurement, fabrication, and on-site assembly of structural components.

Precision Manufacturing and On-Site Assembly

The micro-factory can produce custom structural wall panels with millimeter accuracy, ensuring smooth assembly on location. Before any physical work begins, the entire construction process is digitally simulated to verify design and workflow. The combination of robotic hardware and software actively detects potential issues during execution to maintain the highest quality standards.
