Sunset Reveals the Silhouette of Samo Towers Along Jeddah’s Waterfront

As the sun began to set over the city of Jeddah, the Samo Towers emerged on the waterfront. They created a scene that blended architectural strength with the calm hues of dusk. Though still under construction, the towers captured a unique visual presence as the day faded.

The Sama Towers in Jeddah are under construction, with some lights glowing on the steel and concrete structures during early evening. The waterfront is illuminated by streetlights and surrounding buildings, featuring pedestrian pathways and trees along the road.
The towering Sama Towers in Jeddah come alive with light during the early evening as construction continues.

A Gradual Transition Between Daylight and Nightfall

In the first image, the towers are seen mid construction, revealing their massive concrete and steel framework. As the sun dipped toward the horizon, golden rays filtered through. These rays gently lit up sections of the walls and surfaces, adding a layer of warmth to the otherwise raw structures.

Behind the towers, the sky took on soft tones, fading from pale blue to a light orange. Meanwhile, the waterfront below remained calm and orderly. Pedestrian pathways and neatly planted trees lined the edge, bringing touches of green to the urban view. A few passing vehicles hinted at ongoing activity, even as daylight slowly gave way to the approaching night.

Tower cranes still loomed high, marking the project’s active status. Meanwhile, a few early lights began to flicker on, suggesting the city’s night rhythm was just beginning.

As night falls, the Samo Towers begin to glow from within, with internal and external lighting reflecting off their steel frames. The blend of white and golden light creates a lantern-like effect, as if columns of light are rising into the sky, marking the transition to Jeddah's vibrant nightlife.
By night, the Samo Towers transform into beacons of light, glowing brightly and becoming an integral part of Jeddah’s dynamic skyline.

As Night Falls… the Towers Begin to Glow

The second image takes us further into the evening, with darkness settling over the city. The towers now glow from within, with internal and external lighting reflecting off their steel frames. The blend of white and golden light creates an almost lantern-like presence. It appears as if columns of light were rising into the sky.

The sky above deepened into shades of grey, and surrounding streets lit up with traffic and public lighting. Thus, ushering in Jeddah’s nighttime energy.

A Scene That Shifts, Yet Remains Captivating

Between day and night, the towers reveal two contrasting aspects of their visual character:
– In daylight, their structure and scale dominate the scene.
– By night, the lighting transforms them into an integrated part of the city’s glow.

Even the surrounding elements trees, roads, background buildings appear to shift in clarity between the two moments. Yet, the towers remain the visual anchor, hinting at the rise of a future landmark on Jeddah’s evolving coastline.
