Coral reefs are complex marine structures made up of large groups of living organisms known as coral.
Coral reefs are one of the most vibrant environments on Earth, with hundreds of thousands of different species living in them, including fish, marine worms and other invertebrates.
Coral reefs are of great interest in Saudi Arabia, which won the presidency of the Global Coral Reef Initiative in its (14) session for a period of three years starting in 2025.
But did it stop there? The answer is no, as Saudi Arabia has started a huge project, based in its design on coral reefs, which is the U View Tower.
The exceptional design of the tower is inspired by the Porifera coral reefs that live in the Red Sea, and it will be on the Jeddah waterfront.
The U View Tower will be a place for luxury housing in Jeddah, and provides residential units with distinctive views of the waterfront, located near the Land of Happiness, Al-Farsi Towers and Asilah Tower (Shangri-La Hotel).
The project will be built on an area of 14,000 square meters, and will have 52 floors, and the tower will reach a height of 263 meters. The tower will include 7-star hotels, a number of residential apartments, offices, and retail stores for international brands.
